Why use this
Open Custom Objects when the built-in record types do not fit and you need to model your own.
Benefits:
- Model records that do not fit the built-ins
- Extend your CRM without leaving Looper
- Wire custom objects into workflows and views
- Avoid hacking custom data into note fields
What this is
Custom Objects let you define record types beyond the built-in leads, companies, and deals. Define fields, list, filter, and report on them like any first-class object.
Who can access it
Owner, admin, member, viewer, agency, founder.
What it does
- Define schemas (field name, type, required, default).
- Spin up records under each schema.
- List, filter, search.
- Reference custom records from workflows.
How to use it
- Open /custom-objects.
- Click New schema.
- Add fields. Save.
- Create records under the schema.
Rules and limits
- One schema per record type. Migrations are manual; do not break existing data.
